Festival Awards

Submission to the Waimea Ocean Film Festival is by invitation. Around 5% of films considered are selected. Because of the intensive nature of the selection process, “Official Selection” to the festival has come to be understood as an award in itself. In addition, and with the exception of the Audience Choice and the Director’s Choice awards, films are eligible to receive one individual film award. In a few cases, and when films within a given category are substantially different in nature, the award will be shared between two films. Congratulations to our award recipients.
